god bless, tim! and if it will help your presentation at all, you are welcome to tell the committee that i for one will certainly be getting rid of my cell phone and buying a piston phone as soon as you get those babies into production.

Nice work, Tim! I read the news on Paula's blog. It looks like I have some catching up to do here, including this girl of yours, Hilary. I'm pretty sure we met a few summers ago in Pullman. Anyway, congratulations, and I look forward to reading more in the future.

All - thank you for the comments! I am sorry it has taken so long to reply, I am currently trying to tie up loose project ends, move, finish making changes to the dissertation and going through the submission process, so I haven't found much time to get on the internet to reply. But I appreciate it!

Myron - you did better, last Friday [way to go!]

Ben - I'll certainly let you know when I get my pistonphone into production

Tim - Hilary is quite amazing, you will wonder how I managed to win the heart of such a girl

Marian - Thanks! I crossed out about a million other longer ones ["Acoustic transducer calibration at infrasonic frequencies by means of a variable frequency pistonphone", etc...] and came up with that one out of frustration

Dad - I hope you realize you have been a continual source of encouragement over the entire last 4.5 years i've been doing this here...
