575 Faces
Or... "575 reasons why a person ought not be apprehensive about going to live in a foreign country for a good long while." Each photo's got a story.

What I liked:
a. The B&W
b. The music choice
c. The composition
d. The idea
What I struggled with:
The pacing was a bit fast.
Overall, very cool experimentations. I hope you do more of this in the future.
What fun! Did I spy a Japanese emu? It was neat seeing a bunch of your friends and memories in one go like that. I can't imagine how hard it was to pick only 575 pictures out of the thousands you took.
Tim~ this is really cool. I wish I could hear some of the stories behind the pictures
:) Marian
Nice job, Tim. It is really impressive ... You must have had a lot of fun in Japan and China.
Hey guys, I apologize for the drive by posting (posting but not responding to comments)...
Uncle Ted - thanks, yeah the pacing was pretty fast. I think it would have been better if I could have gotten the transitions to sync with the beat but I couldn't because the movie program had set picture length increments. I made it fast, because I wanted to convey the quantity of things that can happen in just one year. I didn't really want to point out any one picture, but maybe it was too fast.
John - heh that was an Ostrich at "kamu kamu koen" (a play on words sort of meaning "flower park" but also sounding like the English word "come"). They have really bizarre faces. That's also where I grabbed the Yamakagashi and it spread its hood out and totally freaked me out.
Marian - yeah, I'm trying to figure out why I didn't ever sit down and show people pictures when I came home at Christmas time. Oh well, they aren't going anywhere. If you pause on a random picture, I'll tell you the story though!
Kat - dude, you got a blog! That is so cool!
Marian - on second thought, I've blogged about most of the photos, but there are quite a few in there that I didn't blog about, actually...
I loved the song "Trust in a Sigh" so I did a little research and found the CD on CD Baby. Bought it and have listened to it several times. Of all the songs, "Trust in a Sigh" is my favorite. I see from further research that you played with these guys on another album. I may get that one next. Thanks for posting.
Hey Brian, thank you for your comment! It was my favorite too, runner up being Saint Sarah. I will let Phil and Myron know you liked it!
Awwww Tim, I love this!
HEY - did you get a Blah-g yet???
